In Cappadocia, we stayed 5 nights at Zara Cave Hotel in a Fairy Chimney Room that sleeps 3. Their delicious full-spread Turkish breakfast was included, complete with made-to-order eggs and the BEST homemade Turkish Red Lentil Soup!!! Our wonderful breakfast host Deniz was the sunshine of our mornings, and we looked forward to seeing him everyday. Zara Cave Hotel is located in the heart of Göreme. If you plan to visit Cappadocia, I highly recommend booking this hotel well enough in advance, as they only have 17 rooms and sell out quickly! Be forewarned the Muslim call to prayer is very loud and can be heard no matter where you stay in the city, so don't be surprised by the 5am wake-up call. Just think of it as your alarm to get up and watch hot air balloons, which generally start going up around 6am, weather permitting. The property has several decorated terraces that are great for photoshoots, viewing the balloons, and enjoying a nightcap with friends! We absolutely, LOVED this hotel!!! Highly recommend: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Nothing. Just mentioning for awareness, that there is a slightly steep driveway that leads up to the main level of the hotel, and there are also several flights of stairs to get to the different levels of the hotel. I don't believe there is an elevator, but this seems very common for the area.
