Şirince Lotus Konakları

✓We spent a full week at the Lotus and really enjoyed it. The Turkish breakfast is delicious and made with care by Başak and the charismatic Atilla. Our spacious upstairs room had three windows with a beautiful view over the village rooftops and rolling hills. Atilla looks after every guest with interest and humor, and he clearly enjoys getting to know the people who stay with him. He checks in often, sincerely asking if there is anything more we need or anything that could make our stay better, and it is obvious he truly cares. We found him personable, witty, and easy to talk to, and we will never forget his kindness and hospitality. The village is lovely for a stroll, especially in the morning. There is free parking just outside the busy center, but it has no lighting at night, so we used the vineyard’s lot instead; buy a bottle of their wine and parking is free. The Lotus made a great base for day trips to Priene, Miletus, Didyma, Ephesus, and many other ruins.

✓Atilla, the host was incredibly hospitable. He helped us sort transport to Marmaris which we couldn’t find information about online. The place is very comfortable and clean and historic, being at least 400 years old.

✓Pasamos una noche en este pequeño hotel y, sin duda, la recordaremos durante mucho tiempo. Su ubicación es excelente y, además, el propio edificio tiene un encanto y una historia muy especial: está construido con piedras procedentes de la antigua ciudad de Éfeso, un detalle que hace que dormir aquí sea, de alguna manera, dormir entre siglos de historia. Pero si hay algo que hace que este lugar sea realmente inolvidable, es, sin ninguna duda, Atila, el dueño, o “Atila Honey para los amigos”. Hay personas que simplemente regentan un hotel y hay otras que consiguen que te sientas como en casa desde el primer minuto. Atila pertenece, sin duda, al segundo grupo. Su amabilidad, cercanía y generosidad son absolutamente extraordinarias. Durante toda nuestra estancia se desvivió por nosotros, siempre atento a cada detalle, presente en cada momento y regalándonos su mejor sonrisa y sus mejores palabras. Tiene esa capacidad tan especial de hacerte sentir que no eres simplemente un huésped, sino alguien importante para él. Y tuvo un detalle que jamás olvidaremos. Era el cumpleaños de una de nuestras amigas y Atila consiguió que todo el mundo la felicitara durante el desayuno. Puede parecer un pequeño gesto, pero son precisamente esos pequeños gestos los que convierten una estancia en un recuerdo para toda la vida. ❤️ El desayuno es otro de los grandes puntos fuertes: variado, delicioso y lleno de productos locales, muchos de ellos elaborados por los propios dueños. Todo sabe a cariño, a tradición y a producto auténtico. Mención especial merece el té de hierbas naturales, sencillamente espectacular y uno de esos sabores que todavía recuerdas después de marcharte. Y, por supuesto, hay que hablar de la decoración. El hotel combina la historia de sus piedras con una decoración moderna, cuidada y de un gusto exquisito. El resultado es sencillamente inmejorable: un espacio con alma, personalidad y una estética preciosa.

✓We had a wonderful stay. Atilla and his family are amazing hosts — incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel at home from the very first moment. The house is absolutely beautiful and full of character; it feels almost like staying in a small museum, with lovely details everywhere. The location is also excellent, right in the town and very convenient for exploring the area. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It is delicious and beautifully prepared, with a selection of small homemade dishes made with their own fresh products. Everything was tasty and prepared with great care. A very special place that we would happily recommend.
