Pine Valley Hotel Oludeniz

!Extremely disappointing experience with the management of this hotel. I want to make one thing clear from the beginning: I had no issues with the housekeeping staff, kitchen staff or other employees. In fact, we were satisfied with them. My complaint is specifically about the way the management and some reception staff handled a serious incident during our stay. We were staying on the ground floor. Our room had a balcony with a door opening directly outside, so animals could easily approach the room. One day, a cat came to our balcony. We did not let it inside. Later that evening, after returning from the beach, we opened the balcony door to hang a blanket outside to dry. The same cat came back and entered our room. At first, we tried to get the cat out, but it reacted aggressively when anyone tried to touch it. Eventually, everyone stepped outside and the cat also left the room. However, it quickly ran back inside. I sat down on the bed. The cat jumped onto the bed, walked behind my back and, within a few seconds, bit me. I was shocked. We immediately went to reception to ask who this cat was and whether it belonged to or regularly lived around the hotel. I showed a photo of the cat to two men at reception. Both of them told me that the cat was associated with the hotel and that it regularly scratched their boss and had scratched them as well. They also told me that the cats were vaccinated and that I should not worry. When I asked to see vaccination documents for the cat, nobody could provide them. I was advised to contact the manager, Maggie. While trying to resolve the situation with her, I had already driven to Deva Hospital nearby. By that time it was around 10 PM. At the hospital, the doctor told me that because of the bite I needed rabies vaccination as well as a tetanus vaccination. We were extremely upset. We were travelling through Turkey and had a large itinerary planned.

✓All the staff are genuinely kind friendly and fun. In have been with my children and this time solo and have thought exactly the same. The variety of entertainment at night is great and pool time activities are great for kids and adults alike.

!Not hotels fault but guests did the usual towels on sun loungers trick very early in the morning so struggled with getting a lounger (but staff assisted with this and found one when one became available)
