The staff were all lovely and helpful, but unfortunately the hotel itself had quite a few problems. Our room was really dark, and the AC barely worked. Even when set to 18°C, the room still felt around 25°C. The manager offered us an upgrade, but I was already feeling unwell and didn’t have the energy to pack everything up and move rooms. The shower door was also broken and wouldn’t close properly, leaving water all over the bathroom floor. My boyfriend even cut his finger on the broken door. The worst part was that we both ended up getting sick. I started vomiting after having breakfast at the hotel, followed by severe diarrhoea for hours. I ended up in the emergency department at 6pm. My boyfriend didn’t have breakfast, but he started feeling unwell after eating room service for lunch and ended up in the emergency department at 1am. We strongly suspect food poisoning from the hotel food. We only had food from the hotel that day. It’s such a shame because the staff were genuinely super nice and lovely, but the room issues and both of us ending up in hospital made this a really disappointing stay.
Everything about our stay was incredible! The room was super comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and helpful. They took the time to explain everything about Cappadocia and gave us great tips to enjoy the area. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the views of the hot air balloons were breathtaking. One of the most magical moments was being able to watch the sunrise right from our bed! And of course, we can’t forget the adorable dog who welcomed us! Such a lovely little companion who made our stay even more special. It was truly an unforgettable experience. We absolutely loved every moment and would highly recommend this hotel!
