✓The beach and the bar were close by.

!The cleaning lady didn't always restock the minibar. It was impossible to relax because of the loud music.

✓We recently stayed at Ananea Kleopatra Beach in Alanya and are overall very pleased with our stay. It was larger than we expected, but because it is split into several different buildings, it never feels like a giant or impersonal hotel complex. Some of the buildings are located right on the beach, while others are across the street. There is a tunnel connecting the sections so you do not have to cross the road. We stayed in the beachfront building and had a sea view from our room. The hotel features three pool areas and its own sun loungers on the beach. We spent our days on the beach, where finding a sun lounger was never an issue. By the pools, however, we noticed the classic behavior of people reserving loungers at the crack of dawn. The breakfast was very good, the service was good, and there is a gym with everything you need. We had a few meals at the beach restaurant, House of Bohem. The food there was good, but what we especially loved was their amazing Bohemian Lemonade and their Acai Bowl.

!The only things that slightly lowered the experience were the room's Wi-Fi and the communication. The internet was incredibly unstable; during the day it did not work at all, and it was only during the night and early morning that we got a stable connection. Granted, you do not spend all day in your room surfing the web, but at times it was quite annoying. Additionally, they did not answer any questions via Booking before our trip, so I had to call the hotel directly to get answers. Despite the internet issues, we warmly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and cozy atmosphere.

✓The guys at reception were very friendly. They walked us to the room and showed us everything. The breakfast food itself was tasty and the selection was good.

!Cleanliness in the suite was poor: long black hairs on the floor and dust in several places around the rooms. Soundproofing is practically non existent. The bathroom is the worst: we could clearly hear our neighbours' music and conversations through the wall. The room is also close to the stage, so we heard all the music from the evening events until 00:30. The shared dining hall on the ground floor is in absolutely inhuman condition. Stifling heat, the air conditioning was not working, no fans at all. Even the local Turkish staff were walking around drenched in sweat. Awful. The fruit was also poorly washed. The coffee machines are a separate nightmare. Two machines for all hundreds of guests, with a constant queue of four or five people. The machine takes forever to make a simple cappuccino, and every single time my turn came it threw an error and demanded that someone empty the used coffee container, refill the water, or add milk. You really need to do something about this. It should not be this way!!! Value for money is terrible. We paid over 300 USD per night. That is serious money even by European and American standards, let alone for a small resort town in Turkey. We will definitely not come back and will not recommend this hotel until you either fix all of these problems or lower your prices.
