The Suite Apart Hotel

✓Everything!! Fantastic location to start with. Right in the heart of the Old Town but just a couple of streets away to avoid the noise. This property is like a home away from home. It only has 7 rooms in total so was super quiet. 90% of the time I was the only person in the garden and the pool!! We had the King size room )only room on the ground floor I think) so very spacious and the bed was wonderfully comfortable!! The owner is very friendly and always available whilst he’s chilling by the pool. The communal kitchen facilities are ample and we chose to use this area to make our morning poached eggs simply because I didn’t know how to work the hotplate in the room, lol. This property is a little hidden gem and for the price we paid (around £70 per night) it made it a bargain. Would 100% return to this property. Just expect a more ‘homely’ feel rather than a ‘hotel’ experience. If you embrace it, it’s wonderful.

!The garden area is VERY shady but I was able to find small areas of sun through the trees (pretty much just one sun lounger). This was fine for me as I was the only one outside, but i imagine if I came with my friend we’d be fighting over the sun spots! The only other thing is some of the furniture, cabinets etc are a little tired but this in no way spoilt our experience and was still super clean. The free tea looked plentiful but is an assortment of herbal loose tea so don’t expect PG Tips 🤣

✓Mustafa and his family were among the kindest, most welcoming people we have met, making us feel right at home. The air conditioning was excellent and clean smelling, which was vital in the 40°C heat. Great central location in the Old Town, walking distance to everything, plus a lovely small pool and friendly family cats surrounding the property.

!The rooms are in need of renovation, specifically updating the showers, beds, kitchenettes, and laundry facilities. The shower water also fluctuated between hot and cold after about a minute, which was manageable in summer but could be an issue during cooler months. Keep in mind the apartments are compact, but completely expected for an authentic Old Town location
