The Nirvanas Hotel

✓I was many times in Istanbul, but I’ve never been in a hotel such The Nirvanas is. I can say honestly, this was my best stay in Istanbul. Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds, amazing breakfast where you can enjoy Turkish Kahvalti as well, delicious meals and drinks at the bar, the best services - almost spoiling, and the most important for me - the kindest and always smiling staff I’ve ever seen - from reception (greetings specially to Furkan and Oğuzhan 😊), to bar, restaurant, SPA and also cleaning ladies. I felt not like on vacation, but like i was on visit of my family. I tried also Turkish bath with massage and I can just recommend it to other to try. Hotel offers also free pool and fitness for their guests. Nearby hotel there are lot of restaurants, cafés, shops, also one Shopping center maybe 10 minutes by walk, with Metrobüs are you in 20-25 minutes in the historical site of the city, so the location is also well placed. For sure I will choose this hotel for my next stay in Istanbul. Kolay gelsin. ✌🏼

✓A very pleasant stay overall! The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with friendly, attentive staff who make you feel right at home. The location is convenient and peaceful. While the rooms are a bit on the small side, they are modern, smartly laid out, and comfortable for a good night's sleep. A great choice for travelers seeking warm hospitality and strong value, as long as compact room size isn't a dealbreaker!

✓They gave me fresh fruit on the first two mornings & there is a large food court within walking distance.

!I cannot for the life of me figure out how this establishment has such high ratings. LOCATION: It is really far away from the city centre, or anything particularly interesting, but is still somehow so incredibly noisy.. constantly. There is absolutely NO soundproofing whatsoever so you can hear everything ALL the time. HYGIENE: There were little flies in my room all the time & a constant smell of mild sewage in the bathroom. COMFORT: The bed/mattress was the worst I’ve ever slept on. Slept incredibly poorly as a result of this. Woke up with stiff neck & sore shoulders every morning. I can only imagine this must be what sleeping on a prison cot bed feels like. BREAKFAST: I’m so livid I actually paid for the breakfast option, as it was completely INEDIBLE!! Unidentified mush is probably the best way to describe it paired with fruits, veg & stale breadsticks. Explained all of this to the Sales Manager on checkout when she asked how my stay was, but was offered absolutely nothing apart from an apology. How about a REFUND!! Staying here felt like I was being punished. I desperately need to book a holiday to get over the stay at this AWFUL hotel.
