!Absolutely Disgusting Hotel – Avoid at All Costs! This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel is absolutely filthy, and the overall conditions are appalling. There is no lift to the first floor, and the staircase is so narrow and steep that you practically have to climb it on your hands and feet. The man at reception was also extremely unpleasant, and the reception area absolutely stank. I had read several reviews from guests who had paid for their rooms but were left without accommodation because of overbooking. Despite these warnings, I decided to give the hotel a chance. I even contacted them beforehand to make sure everything was confirmed, and they reassured me that there was nothing to worry about. Of course, when we arrived, they had no room for us. I was travelling with my wife and our six-month-old baby, and they had the nerve to send us to another one of their hotels, a 15-minute walk away through narrow alleyways. To make matters even worse, the alternative hotel was on the fourth floor, with NO LIFT. Imagine having to carry a baby, a pram and all your luggage up four floors after being let down by a hotel that had already taken your booking. And yes, the other hotel was just as disgusting and filthy. We had absolutely no choice but to spend the night there, as we had a six-month-old baby with us and nowhere else to go. We left the very next day. The worst part is not just the dirt or the terrible facilities. It is the complete lack of consideration for guests. Taking a booking, reassuring customers that everything is fine, and then leaving a family with a six-month-old baby without the room they paid for is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The poor hygiene, awful facilities, and appalling handling of our reservation made this an absolute nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.
