Location is good
It needs soundproofing. No reception. Smells badly like damp. Lift flooded in the storm so only way to access hotel was stairs. We left at 6am and had no electricity or running water- we couldn’t even brush our teeth! Most importantly and most strangely…at midnight we receive a knock on the door from an employee asking us to swap rooms with another guest as they gave us the wrong room upon check in three hours earlier. When we explained we were already asleep and in bed and had used the bathroom and the room, so it wouldn’t even be able to be used for another guest, they still demanded we moved. We obviously didn’t as it was so bizarre and we only had 5 hours before our flight. Strangest hotel experience yet. Would not recommend staying if you were a SOLO traveller as I would not have felt safe alone.
