!Everything pretty much especially the area. DISGUSTING!. I checked into the apartment and was shocked by its unacceptable condition. It was located in a terrible area, full of mould, and had old, dirty, dusty furniture. The amount of dust was so severe that I immediately developed hay fever symptoms after checking in. I contacted the host to request a refund because the apartment was unhygienic and unsuitable to stay in. However, instead of handling my complaint fairly, they marked my booking as a “no-show cancellation” to justify keeping the entire payment, despite the fact that I had actually checked in and inspected the apartment. I did not stay at the property at all because of its unacceptable condition, yet I have received absolutely no refund. Falsely classifying my booking as a no-show is misleading and unfair, particularly when I physically checked in and the accommodation did not meet reasonable standards of cleanliness and hygiene. I strongly dispute this charge and demand a full refund. I expect the platform to investigate the host’s conduct, review the booking records and communications, and correct the false no-show classification. I should not be financially penalised for refusing to stay in an unhygienic apartment that caused me immediate allergy symptoms.
