Taksim Avenue is a very good choice in Istanbul! Close to Taksim and as los close to Cihangir and Cukurcuma - both are really cool neighborhoods with nice cafes, bars, antique shops!! The room was very nice (even though a bit small - but a i was alone so it was ok)! The furniture is quite new, the bathroom too, so it add up to a pleasant stay! Also nice staff, they helped me out the last day with booking! And they all speak Russian, apart form Turkish and English.
I really liked the staff, especially Halim and Murat — they were very polite and helpful, helped with my luggage and always assisted with directions. The hotel has a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the metro. The room was clean and well maintained, and the same amenities were provided: water, a kettle, and tea. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a hairdryer — everything needed for a short stay.
