Sphendon Hotel

✓What you get for the price is a great value, especially for the location. Rooms were clean and cute - less fussy then in the listing photos. Easy walk to the big attractions.

!There is no breakfast available on site - it was part of why we booked this hotel and when asked, staff just shrugged. There was no back garden, the lobby looks very different, and the terrace was quite different than expected. The thing is, if the listing didn't advertise these things, I wouldn't have been bothered, but as it is, it felt like a bait and switch. It was disappointing that the only answer to our questions was a bored shrug and to be told they're unable to edit their listing on booking.com.
