Closeness to the Istiklal Street was the good part but the neighbourhood made me feel kind of unsafe. Receptionist was solution oriented. The bed was made at least.
The area was sketchy. The bathroom was dirty. Someone has taken a dump in the toilet and they gave me the room without cleaning it! No garbage bag in the trash can, crumpled-up toilet paper behind it, tomato stem in the sink, the drawer with questionable stains and a used ashtray on the desk. Didn’t even spend a night there, left the keys and went to another hotel.
