Simera in Cappadocia - Special Class - Best View Rooftop

!We specially booked what they rank their room with the absolute best view and we were nothing but disappointed. We had requested an early check in, which wasn’t possible (fair) but we actually ended up checking in later than 2pm which is their check in time. Upon arriving to the room we tried to take a shower, there’s was no shampoo or soap left. When we complained about it they sent a fruit basket as compensation which is nice, however considering the time they made us wait for check in, one would have guessed the room would be ready. Also the shower had no doors but a glass wall on only one side which meant showering would soak the entire bathroom. And the bathroom smelled like drainage even though it was supposedly clean. The bed was as uncomfortable as it gets, making it impossible to rest without getting back or neck pain. The pillow cases were rough and felt so uncomfortable. The room smelt musty and there was no AC, despite the room being very warm in the afternoon. It was the worst sleep we’ve gotten in a while. Also we filled the terrace jacuzzi in the morning and it was impossible to get in because of how filthy it was. It’s outside, it’s the desert, life happens and that’s ok, but the fact that there is nothing to at least cover it so one can get it at sunrise and get one of the pics they so highly promote is outrageous. So no, we wouldn’t recommend it for the world. The personnel is nice and respectful, however that doesn’t make up for everything else. There are waaaaaaay better hotels in the area
