  • Cleanliness: Not mentioned in the text; Standard quality for this hotel tier.
  • Service: Generally praised (notably Operational Manager Ibrahim and proactive pool staff) but some service lapses noted (unmanned reception bar, slow service during peak pre-dinner times and rude behaviour on the free boat).
  • Location: Strong positive: spectacular marina view, great position at the marina and a short walk to town along the seafront.
  • Room Quality: Positive: rooms described as beautiful and guests were upgraded on arrival; minor road noise for some rooms near reception.
  • Amenities: Mostly positive (private beach, free boat transfer, mini bar top-ups, pattisserie treats, pool-side drink service) but some operational issues (limited bars open at peak times, unmanned reception bar).
  • Value for Money: Negative: holiday described as expensive; paid restaurants at extra cost were not clearly highlighted on booking site, reducing perceived value.
  • Food and Beverage: Positive overall: buffet described as amazing with wide variety and healthy/local options; cocktails and beach drinks praised, though paid A-la-carte options caused some friction regarding extra charges.
  • Overall Experience: Overall positive: guests were very pleased, recommended for relaxation and luxury escape despite some service and value issues.

Watch out for: Value impacted by paid restaurants not clearly communicated on booking site · Limited bar opening causing long queues at pre-dinner times; reception bar often unmanned · Rude/unengaged staff on the free boat during transfer

Rixos Premium Gocek is not only one of the best hotels on the Turkish Riviera but one of the best in general. The location is spectacular, featuring a stunning marina view that makes for perfect sunsets, and the landscaping is incredibly beautiful—it feels like staying in a lush, green sanctuary. The service was world-class. A huge shout-out to Operational Manager Ibrahim, who made our stay exceptional. His hospitality and professionalism truly made a difference. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxury escape!

We spent a week here end of October and thought it was spectacular. Our room was beautiful and were were upgraded on arrival. It was near the reception so there was a little road noise but nothing that bothered us and we preferred this location to being near the live bands in the evening. The grounds are beautiful as is the position at the marina. We had sun bends easily each day although there were people going out very early each day to grab their fave spots! The food at the buffet was just amazing - a huge range and variety of food. We are not usually buffet people but we really enjoyed eating here most nights. Lots of healthy options and lots of local food too. Its not open lunchtime so we would hop on the free boat to the private beach and eat over there. The little cafe area has wonderful food where you help yourself, and we also ate at Azur lots where you can be waited on - the food was great in both. The cocktails at the beach were amazing as was the staff service for drinks around the pool which was very proactive. A minor issue was that there was only 1 bar open between 6 and 7 when people want pre dinner drinks, so long lines would form and there were not enough servers. The bar at Peoples should be open at this time to ease the pressure and provide better customer service. Also, the bar at the reception area is always open but never manned - we often had to wait there and the staff at reception ignored us until we approached them and asked to be served. We didnt bother with the paid restaurants - the weeks holiday was not cheap so to have these at extra costs I think is a bit too much - and the fact they were extra is not highlighted on the Tui website so we were not aware when we booked. We didnt see them being used much all week and we thoroughly enjoyed the buffet food anyway. The hotels in a great location just a 15 minute walk from the town along the beautiful seafront. The little touches at this hotel make a difference - constant top up of the mini bar, free sweets and ice creams at the pattisserie, and the free boat trip make this a very special place. Although whilst on board the free boat trip the staff were rude and didnt make any announcements or engage with anyone for the entire 3 hours. We travel a lot and were very pleased with our choice - we would recommend if you want to chill, have good food and relax.

Went to Rixos Gocek the beginning of November, first time in Turkey. Fantastic place, great location ad absolutely stunning backdrop all-round with no high rise buildings. On arrival the check in takes far too long, no need to explain half the things they do, you get an app, so let them use it. It's all about telling you additional costs, we go to Greece twice a year all inclusive 5 🌟 hotels and never had to pay for anything like Rixos charge for, the rooms are clean and tidy, nice bathrooms with a good shower, the food side is a massive let down, even the Japanese restaurant we ate in was average at best, and it cost an extra 2000 lira. Staff at the pool bar were excellent, and Ibrahim at the people's restaurant is a credit to the place, made every visit a pleasure. Unfortunately for us a sailing regatta was happening towards the end of our stay and everything revolves round them, they got entertainment we didn't until they arrived. I believe Rixos Gocek as just been bought out so I imagine things will change, if you do go, please take Turkish lira or euros to tip the good Staff, they certainly look after you and it makes a big difference to them, we noticed certain couples who moaned about tipping and got treated exactly in a way they deserved.

We had a 2 weeks stay October 2025 and it really was delightful. Never been to Gocek, never been to Turkey before so was a little apprehensive. No need, from check in, a seat on the sofa and a couple of G&T’s, an explanation of the hotel’s grounds and amenities, to a buggy ridden to our apartment. We asked for a ground floor, quiet, end room, which indeed we were allocated. The Lumin app is very handy and always answered promptly and professionally. The rooms are lovely from a re-stocked minibar everyday, crisps and coffee pods. The bathroom is quite luxurious but I felt the towels could do with being replaced now. Beds were comfortable and changed daily. We had a small terrace which would have been great with a couple of sunbeds so we could relax and sun bath at our room. The pool was lovely, but as at every hotel you go to towels were being put down early in the morning and then not being used for hours, not sure what the answer is to this issue. It wasn’t a major problem as we visited late in the season. The pool team were fab, as soon as the bar opened a different concoction was offered every day. Haken would ask me “a Jenny cocktail - nice and a Bob cocktail (a bottle of beer)”. The beach - it’s man made and reminded me of our golf bunkers at home! It’s very narrow and far too many sunbeds crammed next to each other. The staff work very hard to service everyone and the boat trip to and from the beach is fun. Was not for us but many guests did enjoy using it. The food - Breakfast is fine, buffet and self service. We are not a lover of buffet food for evening as we like to order and be served. The only options were People’s, which we were told could only be frequented 3 times per week. We did eat here most nights, but I guess that was due to being end of season and not that busy, could see it being enforced during high season. There are also Italian, Fish and Japanese restaurants , all with an additional charge. There is a patisserie and a Starbucks on-site. Ice cream and water fridges are located by the pool for you to help yourself. The only issue we had was in the fish restaurant, admittedly there were only 5 tables booked, we had to ask for a drink, cutlery, extra bread etc. One of the guest relations spoke to us and said we should be drinking Raki with the fish, we said we hadn’t been asked. The staff are most helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I was a little concerned at the hours some of the staff were working, they seemed to be there from early morning to late at night. I know you can enjoy your job but you all need rest and a break away from the workplace. It’s all useful, and appreciated, to learn a few words in Turkish, even though the pronunciation can be difficult. I know it’s AI but please take Turkish Lira for tipping, a few pounds to us means such a lot to the staff. Would I go back - you bet I would, loved it. Thank you Rixos
