✓Stunning location, large clean pool with amazing views. Outdoor breakfast overlooking the Dardanelles and Gallipoli. Peaceful. Coastal swim very close.

!The air conditioning was temperamental, likely due to the erratic electricity supply. One room door didn’t lock and I’d like a fridge or kettle rather than a TV. But minor issues. No evening meals which we knew but the local restaurants not great for vegetarians.

✓New hotel.

!Bad smell in the bathroom, no aircon and tv as advertised. No hangers or hooks for towel in the bathroom. No hangers in the wardrobe. During check out, they asked us to pay 500 lira for the extra coffee during free breakfast. We paid 400lira

✓On first glance everything looks good: the furniture is new, the floors and the walls are spotless, the bathroom is fresh and clean, but the place has a weird vibe to it as if the design was solid, but the contract was awarded to the lowest bidder.

!Our room didn't lock from the inside, because the lock was poorly fitted into the frame, the closet near the doom couldn't be opened all the way because the doom mechanism was in the way, the bed had to be moved so that wall sockets could be reached, the balcony door was so heavy that I, a grown man, struggled with it, the brand new-looking shower wasn't mixing hot and cold water properly so we were blasted with hot and cold water repeatedly (it also started flooding after 15 minutes). It's as if no one had lived there before.
