Nexthouse Pera Hotel

✓Bed was super comfortable, spacious room … staff is great

!Needs some maintenance, bathroom leaking water, blow dryer circuit issue, older TVs, balcony door handle broker off .. with just a bit more attention to these details, the place would be amazing … the hotel manager and the other taller gentlemen were wonderful and really did their best to accommodate our needs, which we really appreciated! But ultimately of the owner could eliminate these issues .. it would make things much better .. for everyone!

✓Very nice room on 5th floor with all amenities except mini fridge. Lift takes you up. Right above excellent Mornings in Pera, discovered earlier that led to hotel.

!Reception isn’t fully staffed as they also work in the café downstairs. So getting help or making changes can be delayed as staff respond to messages via WhatsApp.

✓The location is superb right at Istiklal street. The staff are courteous, helpful and very friendly and when I faced the problem in my stay they actually tried their best to help and sort out my cancellation at no charge as they acknowledged the faulty room and the issues I faced.

!The room didn’t look exactly as promoted in their pictures on Booking.com. The AC wasn’t working properly and cooling enough. There was a generator shut down which in turn impacted my AC as it stopped cooling altogether and because the generator was on, there was no WiFi. Add to that, the toilet was run down. The shower leaking water outside and the toilet flush completely broken. The safe box was not working and they needed to put new batteries in it, they eventually replaced it altogether. The were also some stains and marks on the floor. The electronic touch panel for DND/Make My Room was not working. It really felt like no one actually inspected the room properly before giving it to me. What’s very sad is the I really liked the hotel location and the hotel staff, they were exceptionally friendly and helpful even the manager phoned me and apologized about the room condition and processed my refund at no cost which I appreciated. I really feel this hotel has an amazing staff working in a run down hotel which is not fair to them.
