It met my needs traveling with my daughter. Laundry service was very convenient. Concierge was very helpful. The enclosed courtyard in front of each room was a peaceful way to start each morning with a cup of coffee. Grocery shops, pharmacy, ATM, and waterfront restaurants within walking distance. Istanbul is beautiful!
I noticed some problems with cleanliness in the room and pointed them out right away and staff fixed it. Not a lot of sidewalks walking into town, so must be careful of cars passing. Concierge took photos of our passports when we arrived to autofill into computer system. I asked if this was necessary, he said yes. In this day and age with digital privacy a concern, I would have preferred he just manually type in the passport number. It made me feel less welcome, like I was at a customs gate.
