✓Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. We arrived at the correct check-in time after having booked and fully paid for our room nearly three months in advance. Upon arrival, we were simply told that the hotel was fully booked. No booking number was checked, no explanation was given, and no apology was offered. We were taken to another nearby hotel and told that it would only be for one night before being transferred back. That transfer never happened. Throughout the entire stay, nobody contacted us to check whether everything was okay, and no effort was made to follow up on the situation. The replacement room itself was acceptable, but the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, especially at night, and the shower fixture was broken, making it difficult to use. What made the experience even more frustrating was discovering that similar situations had apparently happened to other guests based on online reviews. Booking a specific property months in advance only to be placed somewhere else without communication or concern is simply not acceptable.
