!We stayed at Kılım Apart Hotel with our family and children. Overall, the hotel was clean, the location was convenient, and the staff were polite. However, one important issue significantly affected our stay. Breakfast is served on an outdoor terrace where smoking is allowed. On July 22, guests at the neighboring table were smoking while families with children were having breakfast. My children had to breathe cigarette smoke during the meal. I fully understand that Turkish law allows smoking in many outdoor areas. My concern is not with the law, but with the hotel's approach. I politely asked the management to organize separate seating for smokers and non-smokers, or at least provide a smoke-free area for families with children. Unfortunately, no solution was offered. I believe a family-friendly hotel should make an effort to ensure that guests with children can enjoy breakfast without being exposed to cigarette smoke. Even a simple separation of smoking and non-smoking tables would make a significant difference. Families with young children and non-smokers should keep this in mind when choosing this hotel.
