Istanbul Holiday Hotel

✓As soon as we checked into our rooms, we discovered that both air conditioning units were not working and the sink was blocked. We immediately reported these issues to reception, but instead of trying to help, the staff repeatedly argued that the air conditioning was working, even though it clearly wasn't. The rooms were unbearably hot, making them unsuitable to stay in, especially with children in our family. After speaking to the hotel manager, we were told that an engineer would be called, but they could not guarantee whether they would arrive that evening or even the following day. Despite explaining that it would be impossible for our children to sleep in such extreme heat without air conditioning, the manager and reception staff showed little interest in resolving the situation. To make matters worse, we were told that another room was available, but we would have to pay an additional €40 per night to use it until the faults were fixed. We felt this was completely unacceptable, as we should not have been expected to pay extra for a room with basic working facilities. As a result, we decided to leave the hotel and book accommodation elsewhere. The customer service we received was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. It was clear that the hotel was aware of the condition of the rooms but refused to take responsibility or offer a reasonable solution. I would not recommend Istanbul Holiday Hotel to anyone, particularly families. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this hotel.
