✓The location is absolutely great, next to Metro station on a small street behind the boulevard. There is an elevator, there is warm water and there is WiFi. The guy at the reception is friendly and let us leave our bags before the check-in time.

!Well, it's a very old building - that's okay, but the inside of the apartment was very bad... Everything felt old and dirty :( Even for unpretentious people like us. The bathroom had a rusty heater, the shower area had an extremely dirty glass partition. There were stains on the carpet and what not. The sleeping area also felt poor. The walls of the apartment were very thin, we had neighbors that the first day were blasting music till 01:00 am. There was no one at the reception, so we couldn't complain... The other night they were talking loudly at 02:30 am.... We were considering to leave the hotel after the first night, but decided that it would be too much work. Maybe the price reflects what you get, but this is one of the bad experiences that we have ever had. Book with caution, even if it is just a place to sleep as it was for us! We were deceived by the high rating (8.8.....)

!The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke due to staff and guests smoking inside. Booking.com is misleading customers by mentioning "non-smoking rooms". The smell permeated absolutely every corner, making the stay very unpleasant and borderline dangerous. I traveled with a toddler and was stressing about second -hand smoke exposure the whole time. I normally turn around and leave in similar situations but due to needing rest after a 12-hr flight and paying in advance for the duration of the stay (11 nights), I decided to go through with the reservation. The building is the opposite of accessible. There is technically an elevator but one needs to climb up and down a bunch of uneven, narrow and slippery stairs to get in and out. I struggled with dragging both my child and the stroller along those stairs every time. Yes, one could leave a stroller downstairs but then it would reek of smoke as much as any other item in the building. Anyone senior or with mobility issues would not be able to get to their room at all without risking to break their neck from falling down the steep stairs. The room was clean upon arrival but throughout my stay it became clear that the owner didn't invest in the general upkeep of the property. Photos attached show a hair dryer with exposed wiring and overall falling apart. Lots of mold and different buildup in the washing machine and shower area. Wallpaper peeling off in multiple places.
