Hotel Black Pearl

✓Staff were welcoming and very helpful! Breakfast was pretty good too, although the earlier you get there the better. Having an air con was good too because the room was quite stuffy and we couldn't have the window open because of the loud construction next door.

!Probably our own fault for not being more particular when booking but the room was really tiny and stuffy, lots of dated and worn fixtures and finishings (e.g., raw cut plaster board in the roof, deteriorating bathroom), poor quality sheets and the floors on a significant lean which gives you a bit of vertigo. It's my first time to Istanbul and all the other reviews for Black Pearl are so positive so I don't know if this is just what you get for a room at this price point but I probably wouldn't book it again.
