Verified guest reviews via booking partner
Very disappointing experience – misleading photos, noise, and ongoing renovation The hotel looks much better in the photos and positive reviews than it actually is. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The dining area is very small and cannot accommodate all the guests comfortably. Rooms facing the street are extremely noisy because of the restaurant directly below the windows. On top of that, unpleasant cooking smells from the restaurant’s kitchen enter the rooms. But the biggest problem was the ongoing renovation work inside the hotel. The noise during the day was unbearable, making it practically impossible to stay in the room or relax. Nobody from the hotel staff informed us about the renovation before our arrival or during check-in. Because of these conditions, we had no choice but to leave the hotel after just one night. What made the situation even worse was the hotel’s dishonest behavior afterward. Despite the fact that we had checked in and stayed for one night, the hotel reported us as a “no-show” on Booking.com. As a result, Booking.com attempted to charge us a no-show penalty. This is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Guests deserve accurate information about the hotel’s condition, especially when major renovation work is taking place. I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking this hotel. Do not rely solely on the photos and positive reviews.
