Friendly + helpful staff and close to all that you need while in Istanbul. A minutes walk to Galata tower and the shops nearby. The metro is a short stroll away and the tram is about 15 min by foot up hill. Extremely neat and clean rooms with fresh towels provided everyday.
We liked everything about the property except the fact that the air conditioning didn’t work. When we asked the reception, we were told that during this season only the heater works (not the cooling function). In saying that, the room was stuffy and we had to open the balcony, which we didn’t mind, except that there was a lot of noise in the morning from garbage trucks to supplies being brought in for the stores along the parallel street and also the filming of a show/movie with filming crew using the street as their backstage.
