Google maps sends you to the wrong hotel. The actual hotel is 10 meters up the steps on your left on top of the Chinese and Sushi express restaurant. It took me 30 minutes of dragging a suitcase around to find it. No security guard, taxi driver or random person had a clue where it was.
Very conveniento
Perfect location near main transportation (Funicular, Metro station), as well as the main tourist attraction: Istiklal street, Galata tower and others. Very friendly Staff.
Roof terrace wasn't available due to construction work. (which could be heard from room during day). Room smelt of stale cigarette smoke in spite of requesting non-smokingroom. Disturbing services shaft outside rear 'window' of the room - total fire safety risk. Grille to bathroom ventilation shaft had fallen off...not surprising given it had been stuck on with double sided sticky tape! Wire for light fitting sticking out of wall with no light there. We ended up going elsewhere as dreaded each time we needed to go back to the room.
