Staff was helpful. Location is excellent, walkable to most of the attractions in the old town. Free Turkish breakfast is a plus. The property itself has some character and charm, but is a bit dated. We have no hot water for one night.
Beautiful hotel ..great service by the front office especially Byram. Great location very accessible to all the historical sites.
The homely feeling and friendly staff were nice.
Absolutely perfect location for so many things!! 5 minutes from the waterfront in one direction, 10 minutes from Hague Sophia and the Blue Mosque in the other. Transit easily reachable in a 10-15 minute walk. Despite being so close to the very crowded square, the street around the hotel is very peaceful, with staggered streets that make it quiet and calm when you come back from being out. Staff were very friendly and helpful (thank you so much for carrying my bags up and down the stairs!). There is no lift, which after a long day walking up and down the hills of Istanbul would have been nice, but this is the only teeny negative I could say. Will definitely stay here again and have already suggested to friends!!
