Demosan Hotel★★★★

✓Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The description clearly states that the rooms are non-smoking, however this is not reflected in reality. The staff showed us as many as eight rooms, and in each of them there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. In the last room the smell was slightly less intense, but still very noticeable. Due to the late hour and our long journey, we had no choice but to check in. We do appreciate that the staff tried to help and even offered us rooms of a higher standard than the one we had booked. However, that was not the point - what we needed was simply a room where we wouldn’t feel like we were standing in a smoking area. Unfortunately, this was not possible. The situation became even worse after turning on the air conditioning - the smell intensified, as if cigarette smoke was being blown into the room from elsewhere. The bed linen, towels, and curtains - everything smelled of smoke. Additionally, the curtains were visibly dirty (photo attached). After just one night, all of our clothes smelled of cigarettes and now need to be sent to a laundry service. It is hard to imagine staying in this hotel with a child - with the air conditioning on, it feels as if you are standing right next to someone smoking. In our opinion, the information stating that the rooms are non-smoking should not be included in the offer, as it is simply not true. This is especially disappointing because the hotel itself is nicely designed and could make a very good impression. Unfortunately, for non-smokers, staying here is extremely uncomfortable. Despite their efforts, the staff were unable to provide us with a room where the smell was acceptable. Overall, this experience has been very disappointing.
