Avicenna Hotel - Special Class

✓The place is close to many local attractions, muzeums, squares, parks, and winding streets with historical buildings, and Byzantine walls and ruins. Tgere are a lot of restaurants and shops here, too. Yet, many looked tourist traps to me: the quality was good, but you would get better deals, if you went farther to the north-east, or even visit the Asian part.The vicinity of the Murmur sea, seaside views, and the trail to Eminönü is another advantage. We explored the majority of those sites and attractions on foot. Daily breakfast options at the hotel were diverse and tasty under Zalifeh's supervision. The rooms are rather small, a little worn, but are cleaned daily -- sufficient to spend the night-time. Aziz's keen sense of humour kept everyone energized and in good mood. The staff are very hospitable, polite, and eager to provide assistance. Aziz and hotel manager, Elif, helped a lot in communication when the transfer company failed to arrive at the proper location.

✓I especially liked how convenient the Hotel was to the major sites in Istanbul. The Staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. And the view from the restaurant for dinner was incredible.

✓Overall I like the place-view from Terrace is amazing! Spend your evening in romantic atmosphere of charming breeze from the sea,music and good food! But rooms haven’t been renovated for long time,the standard rooms are very small,bathrooms are very cramped. The beds were very uncomfortable and small But everything compensate with nice staff,good breakfast and location-5min away from beautiful square with mosques. Hotel located in very quiet place. We might come back,but take bigger room.

✓Had a lovley stay here, reception staff so friendly and approachable, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were catered for. The location is very good, not far at all from many restaurants and amenities.
