Aqua Princess Hotel

✓The location is convenient, within easy walking distance of the centre of Kaş. The sea view from our Executive Suite was genuinely beautiful.

!The Executive Suite was very disappointing and did not match the impression created by the Booking.com listing. The original listing showed a much more spacious-looking room and a large furnished terrace; in reality we had a small bedroom, a tiny living room and two very small balconies. Interestingly, the Executive Suite originally had 15 photos on Booking.com, but after I raised my complaint only 6 remained. The suite is at the very top of the hotel with no lift. Reaching it involves a substantial number of stairs (equalling probably the 7th floor), far more than I expected from the description “upper floors accessible by stairs only”. In the August heat this was exhausting and significantly limited how often we wanted to leave the hotel. Air conditioning is only in the bedroom, so the bedroom door has to stay open to cool the living room. The balcony doors initially could not be secured and required a technician to repair them. The advertised “minibar” was simply an empty old fridge with two small bottles of water, and there were no proper drinking glasses, only disposable paper cups. I complained immediately and showed reception the Booking.com photographs, but was told that Booking.com was “not their website” and that the hotel had only one Executive Suite, so there was no alternative room. For the price we paid, the accommodation, facilities and service were extremely disappointing. Had the Executive Suite been represented accurately, I would have booked somewhere else.

✓Lovely location and lovely place. Breakfast was good. Lunch was tasty! We got a free room upgrade I believe. Lovely staff. Lovely pool and great ocean to swim in. Overall we would recommend to everybody to stay !

!I think you should be aware to be an early riser if you want a subbed. Not enough sunbeds for amount of guests so be there latest at 9 if you want a place in the sun and 10:30 latest if you want a bed at all during peak season (worked for us so no problem!). As a side note it is 10 stairs (some are half) from the Main Street to our room (more to the beach) and it’s not hard if you in normal shape but good to be aware for pregnant and elderly :)
