Amiral Palace Hotel Boutique Class

✓Absolutely outstanding breakfast buffet offerings with a very large range of eggs, cakes, cheeses, salads, etc. The spa facilities were very good, especially the sauna (properly hot) and pool. The hammam (at extra cost) was very nice. The weight room lacked a stationary bicycle but did have running and elliptical machines and a multi-weight lifting machine (I missed not having an exercise bike, though). The hotel's location was super convenient - just 5-10 minutes walk from the main sites in the old city (Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque) with easy access to the T1 tram and a comfortable walk along the water to the spice market as another option. Plenty of restaurants within a hundred metres and the hotel's rooftop restaurant was a very nice place to enjoy a beer and take in the view over the water at the end of the day.

!We were quite happy with all aspects of the hotel. Just would have liked an excercise bike in the gym.
